Adega da Vidigueira was founded in 1960 based on the efforts of many winegrowers in the region. Nowadays, it is one of the oldest wineries in Portugal but also a modern and visionary company which was recognized in 2016 as “Co-op of the year”. Its wine growing heritage includes native grape varieties among which "Antão Vaz" stands out.
