Overview

The Alentejo EXPORT Platform is a tool to support the internationalisation of the SMEs of the Alentejo Region and to promote the products and services made in the Region. The platform therefore plays a key role in supporting the companies of the Region in their internationalisation process.

It is an innovative platform that gives the SMEs of the Region the opportunity to build partnerships with international traders in a simple, centralised way. It also brings together information that helps companies prepare for internationalisation (market information, an internationalisation potential simulator, among others).

The platform is developed by the partnership of NERE and NERBE/AEBAL and co-funded by the Alentejo 2030 Regional Programme, Portugal 2030 and the European Union.

NERE

The Business Association of the Évora Region – NERE is a non-profit business association of public utility. Its mission is to promote the economic development of the District of Évora, as well as innovation and the creation of more and better companies in the Region. To that end, it defends the interests of its members and promotes projects that improve the business context and environment.

NERBE/AEBAL

The Business Association of Baixo Alentejo and Litoral – NERBE/AEBAL is a body of public utility set up to defend the interests of all its members, particularly in technical, economic and commercial matters, and to promote the harmonious, consensual and dynamic development of the economic and business life of the Region.

As part of its strategy, NERBE/AEBAL has taken an active part in several structures of great importance to the region, namely EDAB – Empresa de Desenvolvimento do Aeroporto de Beja, S.A. and ADRAL – Agência de Desenvolvimento da Região Alentejo, S.A.
